Our amazing son was born with Congenital Hyperinsulinism- Diffuse Disease in 2021. Only one in 50,000 babies are born with some version of this genetic mutation.
 
He has been a trooper from the start and true pilar of strength. At TWO YEARS OLD now, he has already undergone being born 2 months early, 1 medical flight across the country, 2 emergency surgeries, 4 PICC lines, 1 Port insertion, countless procedures and more hospitalizations and doctors appointments than we can count at this point. And he does it all with a smile! He has truly completed our family and we are so blessed to have him!
